BLS Targets allow you to track and manage your clients target issues, memories, or installation for EMDR. You can add as many targets as you want for each client and easily track your clients progress with SUDs or VOC.
To create a new target for your BLS/EMDR therapy for a client, click the BLS Target "Create New" (or "Select" if you already have targets) button in the EMDR toolbar. A popup will be displayed where you can enter a new BLS target.
Enter in a name for your BLS target and select the current SUDs and VOC.
SUDs is short for Subjective Units of Distress. There are 10 pre-defined levels that you can select from that range from no distress to the highest distress.
VOC is short for Validity of Cognition. There are 7 levels of VOC that you can choose from ranging from totally false to totally true.
You can also provide additional BLS target details if you want. These details can include:
The target timeline (Past, Present, Future)
The image or picture the target raises
The clients negative cognition
